I really love pancakes, a lot. I also really love all things lemon-flavored, so when Shrove Tuesday (pancake day!!) rolled around again and I decided to treat myself, I thought I’d just combine the two and make some vegan keto lemon pancakes to enjoy!

If you’ve taken a peek at my instagram account any time in the past week or so, you’ll see that I’ve gone a little pizza-crazy. Okay, so I posted pizzas twice both in my feed and my stories, but still. That’s 100% more pizza than […]
I know I’ve really been babbling about this a lot lately, but I really am just so excited… my cookbook is just one week away from release! Side note – you can get it delivered on the actual day of release (October 30th) if you pre-order from Amazon, which is just delightful. Anywho, since the book release is super close to the best holiday of the year, I thought I’d share another recipe with a bit of a Halloween twist! (more…)
Fall is in the air, and so I’ve been playing around with fall flavors every time I cook or bake something. For baking, this pretty much just means cinnamon and nutmeg go into everything. I grew up within walking/biking distance of three different apple orchards, […]
Are you a soy-free vegan on a keto diet? Are you frustrated with the lack of protein options that aren’t seitan or mock meats? Have you been searching for a soy-free tofu and haven’t really found one that actually tastes decent? Well, you’ve come to […]
I’m so excited to be writing this post because frankly, I’m tired of never finding protein bars I can eat in stores. It’s hard enough finding a vegan keto protein bar but then add to the list the fact that it also needs to be gluten-free and almond-free and things become exponentially more difficult. I’ve posted before about a few store-bought bars that I like before, but I’m kind of over paying $2.50 a bar for something that only tastes okay. So, I decided to just make my own vegan keto protein bars in the style of the ones I like.
Pumpkin is one of those foods that’s kind of low-key keto friendly. In larger quantities, not so much, but when used as a flavoring or in smaller serving sizes, it definitely qualifies as being low carb. It’s also high in beta-carotenes! I really like pumpkin, […]
Vegan keto Nepalese curry might not be the first thing that comes to mind when you’re trying to come up with dinner plans, but hopefully, this recipes changes your mind! Recipe inspiration can come from many places, and in this case, it’s from one of […]
You know you have those foods built up in your head that you crave from time-to-time? The ones that you haven’t had in so long, you genuinely don’t know what they taste like anymore. For me, that food is doughnuts. Because I’m both vegan and gluten-free, ready-to-eat doughnuts that won’t destroy my insides aren’t exactly easy to come by. Being keto only complicates things further. A while ago, I made some vegan keto peanut butter doughnuts that were so tasty, I got a boatload of requests to make more varieties. So, I present to you, vegan keto chocolate doughnuts. (more…)
I’ve spent the last six months or so doing a crazy amount of cooking for my upcoming cookbook (!!!), and have been playing around with different types of meat substitutes that are both gluten-free and soy-free (as well as being low carb and vegan). Meatballs […]
