Easy Homemade Keto Gochujang (sugar-free, gluten-free, soy-free)

Easy Homemade Keto Gochujang (sugar-free, gluten-free, soy-free)

The other day, I had a crazy craving for some bibimbap, a Korean rice and veggie dish. The problem I ran into was that I couldn’t seem to find a commercial gochujang sauce that wasn’t loaded with sugar – and I mean 8-9g of sugar […]

Vegan Keto Raspberry Spread (sweetener-free!)

As you know if you follow me on any social media account, I’ve been doing a lot of bread recipe testing lately. I’m on a quest to find the perfect vegan keto sandwich bread, so I’ve probably made 10 different loaves in the past week […]

Vegan Keto Golden Milk Tea Latte

Vegan Keto Golden Milk Tea Latte

While coffee will forever be my first love, I’ve actually started drinking black tea in the mornings. That soon progressed to little tea lattes with plain coconut milk, and then I started adding turmeric and other spices for the anti-inflammatory benefits. I have some autoimmune and inflammation issues and sometimes the pain makes it hard to go about my day (not to whine). Silly as it sounds, this vegan keto golden milk tea latte really help with that. Vegan Keto Chocolate Waffles (gluten-free, nut-free, soy-free)

Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. Well, not breakfast per se, but breakfast foods for sure. Pancakes and waffles are basically my go-to treats on any given occasion. Because I’m basically just constantly thinking about breakfast foods, I really wanted to eat chocolate waffles […]

Low Carb Vegan Pecan Swirl Cookies

Low Carb Vegan Pecan Swirl Cookies

Oh, the weather outside is frightful! Okay, so, it’s not really frightful in the least bit. But, it is chilly out, and chilly weather always makes me want to bake thing, like cookies. I’ve always loved pinwheel cookies, which is irritating, as they are the most […]

Low Carb Vegan Carrot Soup

Low Carb Vegan Carrot Soup

As the weather gets colder, and the number of vegetables that are in season in New England dwindles, I’ve been looking for new ways to use the root crops we have in abundance. Two of the vegetables that appear regularly in my farm share are carrots, and kohlrabi. Because carrots are pretty high in sugar, I don’t really get to use them in recipes as much as I’d like, but lately I’ve really been craving a carroty soup. So, I decided to combine these delicious carrots with the low carb cruciferous power of kohlrabi to make this low carb vegan carrot soup. (more…)

Peanut Butter Chocolate Low Carb Vegan Protein Balls

Peanut Butter Chocolate Low Carb Vegan Protein Balls

I’ve been trying to get away from buying protein bars because they’re so expensive, and the number of low carb vegan protein bars on the market is woefully small. In fact, there’s only one store anywhere near me that sells a vegan protein bar that […]

Easy Vegan Keto Breakfast Recipes

Easy Vegan Keto Breakfast Recipes

Let’s be real – the hardest meal of the day to put together is breakfast. Not only have you likely not had coffee yet, but you’ve also got some time constraints. I’m not a big fan of complex breakfasts most days, and I know a […]

Vegan Keto Peanut Butter Cheesecake Bites

Vegan Keto Peanut Butter Cheesecake Bites

Any of you who have been on a low carb or ketogenic diet for a while will likely recognize the phrase “fat bomb.” It’s pretty much exactly what it sounds like – a small treat made of mostly fat to make eating a super low carb diet a lot easier. Ever since making those cookie dough bites the other day, I’ve really been on kind of a fat bomb kick. Mostly because I’m lazy, and while I would love to stay in the kitchen baking low sugar carb cookies for warmth, I would also love to be snuggled under a heated blanket. So, I decied to make another version of a low carb vegan fat bomb – vegan keto peanut butter cheesecake bites. (more…)

Vegan Keto Cookie Dough Bites

Vegan Keto Cookie Dough Bites

Let’s be real – cookie dough is much better than actually baking cookies. I’ve spent many a night with a tube/bucket/bowl of cookie dough, watching Bravo and procrastinating something important. But really, who hasn’t? Since adopting a low carb vegan way of eating, I haven’t […]
